Game Rules and Enforcement Policy

Welcome to Pixel Odyssey! These rules help maintain a fair, fun, and safe environment for all players. By playing Pixel Odyssey, you agree to follow these rules.

Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in account restrictions:

Account Violations

  • Multiple Accounts: Creating or operating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
  • Account Sharing: Sharing, selling, or transferring your account to another person
  • Account Trading: Trading accounts with other players

Cheating and Exploitation

  • Botting: Using bots, scripts, macros, or any automation tools to play the game
  • Third-Party Software: Using unauthorized third-party software that modifies or interferes with the game
  • Bug Exploitation: Intentionally exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities for personal gain
  • Hacking: Attempting to access, modify, or reverse-engineer the game's code or servers

Trading Violations

  • Real Money Trading (RMT): Buying, selling, or trading in-game items, currency, or accounts for real money or real-world value
  • Cross-Game Trading: Trading Pixel Odyssey items for items in other games

Disruptive Behavior

  • Harassment: Harassing, bullying, or threatening other players
  • Hate Speech: Using discriminatory, racist, or hateful language
  • Spam: Flooding chat or other communication channels with repetitive messages
  • Impersonation: Pretending to be a staff member, moderator, or another player

Other Violations

  • Fraud: Attempting to defraud other players or the game
  • Chargebacks: Initiating fraudulent payment chargebacks after receiving in-game purchases
  • Circumventing Bans: Creating new accounts or using other methods to bypass account restrictions

Enforcement Actions

We take rule violations seriously and will take appropriate action to maintain game integrity.

Warning

For minor or first-time violations, we may issue a warning to your account. Warnings serve as a notice that you've violated our rules and should correct your behavior.

Temporary Suspension

Accounts may be temporarily suspended for:

  • Repeated minor violations after warnings
  • First-time serious violations
  • Suspicious activity requiring investigation

Suspension periods:

  • 24 hours for minor repeat offenses
  • 3-7 days for moderate violations
  • 14-30 days for serious violations

Permanent Ban

Accounts will be permanently banned for:

  • Severe violations (hacking, real money trading, major exploits)
  • Repeated violations after multiple suspensions
  • Any activity that seriously threatens game integrity or player safety

IP Ban

In cases of repeated ban evasion or severe abuse, we may implement IP-based restrictions to prevent access to the game from specific network addresses.

Additional Actions

We may also:

  • Remove or reset account progress, items, or currency obtained through violations
  • Remove content that violates our rules
  • Take legal action for serious violations

Factors We Consider

When determining penalties, we consider:

  • Severity of the violation: How much it impacts game integrity and other players
  • Intent: Whether the violation was intentional or accidental
  • History: Previous warnings, suspensions, or violations on the account
  • Impact: The effect on other players and the game economy
  • Cooperation: Whether you've been honest and cooperative during investigations

Appeals Process

If you believe your account was restricted in error, you may submit an appeal.

How to Appeal

  1. Contact us at support@pixel-odyssey.app within 30 days of the restriction
  2. Include the following information:
    • Your username and account details
    • The date and type of restriction
    • A clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect
    • Any relevant evidence or screenshots

Appeal Review

  • We will review all appeals on a case-by-case basis
  • Appeal decisions typically take 3-5 business days
  • We may request additional information during the review
  • All appeal decisions are final

What We Cannot Do

We cannot:

  • Restore progress, items, or currency from banned accounts
  • Provide detailed evidence of detection methods (to prevent future exploitation)
  • Guarantee a specific outcome or timeline

Account Security

To protect your account from being compromised:

  • Use a strong, unique password that you don't use elsewhere
  • Never share your password with anyone, including friends
  • Be cautious of phishing attempts asking for your login information
  • Report suspicious activity immediately to support

Compromised Accounts

If your account is compromised and used for rule violations:

  • Contact support immediately at support@pixel-odyssey.app
  • We may temporarily suspend the account while investigating
  • You are responsible for securing your account
  • Repeated compromises may result in permanent restrictions

Reporting Violations

Help us maintain a fair game by reporting rule violations.

How to Report

What to Include

  • Username of the player violating rules
  • Type of violation (botting, harassment, etc.)
  • Date and time of the incident
  • Screenshots or video evidence if available
  • Any other relevant details

False Reports

Submitting false reports to harass other players is itself a violation and may result in action against your account.

No Refunds for Violations

Important: No refunds will be issued for suspended or terminated accounts, including:

  • Unused subscription time
  • In-game currency or items
  • Recent purchases

Violations of our rules void any entitlement to refunds.

Changes to These Rules

We reserve the right to update these rules at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated rules.
